Vyrra
Support
Vyrra turns speech into text on your iPhone, then copies it so you can paste it where you need it.
Getting Started
- Install Vyrra on a supported iPhone.
- Prepare the speech model when prompted. The accurate model may take about a minute to prepare on some devices.
- Allow microphone access when you first record.
- Hold to speak, release when finished, then paste the copied text into another app.
Model Setup
Vyrra may need to download and prepare a speech model before transcription works. If setup is slow, keep the app open, stay on Wi-Fi when possible, and make sure your phone has enough free storage.
Keyboard Companion
The Vyrra keyboard is optional. It is designed as a lightweight insertion companion for recent Vyrra drafts and shortcuts. iOS may ask for Full Access so the keyboard can read local Vyrra status and shared drafts from the main app.
Troubleshooting
Microphone permission
If recording does not start, open iOS Settings, find Vyrra, and confirm microphone access is enabled.
Slow first run
The first model preparation can take longer than repeat recordings. If the app appears stuck for several minutes, quit and reopen Vyrra, confirm your connection, and try preparing the model again.
Text did not paste
Open the destination app, tap into a text field, and choose Paste. Some secure fields and apps restrict custom keyboard behavior.
Offline use
Offline transcription should only be expected after the selected model has already been downloaded and prepared on the device.
