Vyrra

Privacy Policy

Vyrra is designed to be a private, local-first voice utility. This policy describes what the app is intended to do with your speech, text, and settings.

Summary

Information Vyrra Handles

Microphone audio

Vyrra uses the microphone only after you start dictation in the main app or through the system-provided Start Dictation App Shortcut. The optional keyboard cannot start recording on its own. iOS shows its microphone indicator while the main app is listening.

After you start dictation, audio is processed on your device and removed after successful transcription, no speech, or explicit discard. If a completed recording cannot be transcribed, Vyrra may retain one recording in protected, excluded-from-backup local storage so you can retry or discard it. The recording expires after 24 hours. Interrupted partial recordings are discarded.

Transcripts and saved text

Vyrra may store polished text, original transcript text, note titles, folders, terms, shortcuts, and local settings so the app can show history and personalize output on your device.

Model files

Vyrra may download and cache speech model files. These files are used to prepare local transcription. Model downloads are not user speech or user transcript uploads.

Support and feedback

If you email support, Runner Concepts receives your email address and the contents you choose to send. This happens outside the app and is used to respond to and document your request. Support email may be retained as needed to resolve the issue. Do not include recordings or transcript text unless you choose to and it is necessary for your request.

Optional website support tips

If you choose Support Vyrra on vyrra.ai, you leave the site for a Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe receives the payment and contact information you choose to provide under Stripe's privacy policy. Runner Concepts receives the payment amount, status, and receipt or contact details Stripe makes available, but vyrra.ai does not process or store full card details. Tips are optional, do not unlock Vyrra features, and are not represented as charitable or tax-deductible donations.

What Vyrra Does Not Do

Keyboard Extension

Vyrra includes an optional keyboard companion. With Full Access enabled, it can exchange narrow local session status, finish or cancel commands, approved result text, and enabled shortcuts with the main app. The keyboard cannot start or own a recording. Start dictation in Vyrra or with the system-provided Start Dictation App Shortcut, then return to your text field. The keyboard does not open Vyrra, request microphone access, load speech models, use the network, or send keystrokes to Runner Concepts; it can open only iOS Settings.

Network Access

Vyrra may use network access to download model assets and open support or privacy links. Public claims about fully offline behavior should be limited to behavior that has been verified on device after model setup.

Data Deletion

You can delete saved history, folders, terms, shortcuts, and local settings inside the app where those controls are available. A saved failed recording can be retried or discarded and expires after 24 hours. Deleting the app from your device also removes its local app data through normal iOS behavior.

Children

Vyrra is not designed for children under 13. Do not use Vyrra to record another person without appropriate permission.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Vyrra changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
